Nothing is wrong with him. He has made it clear he has heard your hints....Now my question is, why have you not said "I'd like to take you to (name something) Friday night. Would 7 pm be good for you? " The details depend on what you know about his schedule. Make sure you pick a day & time you are pretty sure he has no plans, and do it face to face, not text, or phone.

The other possibility is just cuz he is your friend, does not mean he is romantically interested in you. He may fear losing the female friend connection, or you are just not his type. If you are not his type, he will be busy that night, and every other night you may suggest. If he is afraid of losing your friendship, he will appear decidedly uncomfortable and hem & haw about it.

What I personally think, you are pestering him without being direct. Men in general need plain talk, not hints. Women tend to give hints and expect men to get it, then get hurt or upset when they don't. Realize men are different than you, you need to say "I want to date you" rather than "we should go out sometime" cuz they will hear "sometime" and never make the time happen.
They can understand direct sentences. I want to date you, they say ok, how about friday at 7 if they want to date you back.

Think simple and direct for men. Not that they are stupid, that is just the way they work. We women are more confusing than they are. We expect hints that we can figure out for ourselves. Silly, but true.

Call him and set up a date when you two are going out together. If he doesn't decide on this is seems to be too reluctant about this, then don't call him back anymore until he finds that bloody credit for his phone and calls you back.
Don't worry, if he likes you he will definitely not let you go, otherwise if he does the contrary he is interested on you just like a good friend!

Sounds like all he wants to be is friends.Don't throw him away just because you 2 may not be dating material for each other. In the end days of our lives,we can generally count our TRUE friends on one hand.

Just dont wait around for him. Make sure you are keeping yourself available until you know whats going on with him it could mean all the things you mentioned. Just kick back and see what happens. Sometimes the best things in life are worth the wait.

could be both being shy and afraid of what may or may not happen. Give him a little more time. Maybe he'll come around. And if not there's more fish in the sea.

firstly, it is possible that he is shy, or that he doesnt want to ruin the freindship... but some guys are like that, it could also be possible that he likes you too, but cant find the right words... my advice is to get him over and talk to him about it, and MAKE SURE he listens, explain how much this is upsetting you, and if he's a good enough freind, he will understand

find out something you have in common with him, movie or a concert or something, Find out when its playing tell him you want to go with him at a specific date and time if he can't make it, because of work or prior commitments, ask him when he's free. If he's not at all willling to make time for you then he's not that interested and you need to let him go.

i think he is not interested in u, just keeping u handy, dump him immediately.
i think he is thinking u as easily available, which u r not.
he is not worth u
if he really wants u, he should call u, or have time for u.
no matter if there is talk time or not, the person i need to contact i will contact him, by hook or by crook
these are all silly excuses

dont push the issue...if he doesnt call back ..leave it at that ..and just continue being friends...there are far too many fish in the sea..anf FYI...if u make the first move ..more than once and dont get a callback...drop it...they know your interested in them...and if they want you ....let them do the calling....he could be one of those...(yes there are some) that want the thrill of being chased by a female...dont do that ..lol.

good luck and just have fun

If he were really interested in dating you, he would have acted on it by now. He was probably just trying not to hurt your feelings.
