Where did the laws of creation come from? The laws of physics,.chemistry, mathematics,, just science in general? If nobody created these laws how did they come into existance?

Science was created by great minds... So gravity,,, so the laws of gravity could be different,, if are minds made it that way..

I never doubt the holy spirit that dwells in me. Somebody that knows the truth, cannot deny it. Just because I ask questions doesn't mean I want explanations..I'm only trying to get you to think deeper about your beliefs..

Nothing can produce nothing.... Therefore why do you suppose that nothing can produce something... God had to be,,, so that he created the something...

Good points...
Please be aware that there is scientific and intellectual evidence for the existence of God (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/godsci/evidence.htm)
I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html ).
Cordially,
John

That's one of the deepest mysteries of science. Many, very intelligent physicists are trying to figure out exactly that. Some progress is being made.
The real question is, why are you trying such a blatant God of the Gaps argument? It's a bad argument - the fact that we do not yet (or even may never) have an explanation for something, does not in anyw ay make the conclusion "Goddidit" more likely. Not only that, invoking a deity is a non-explanation.
However, perhaps more importantly, a god of the gaps argument is risky theology. If you erect an argument for a deity on the fact that something is not yet understood, should it ever be explainded the very basis upon which an aspect of your theology rests is kicked out from under your feet. The inevitable result of any such argument is a weaker faith, a weaker concept, a weaker case for your god.

Man did not create the laws of gravity, electricity, or magnets. Man created science. Science is the STUDY of why things work the way they do. We observe something. We try to figure out WHY.
Your answer to the great question WHY is because god said so. Sorry, that just isn't a provable reason. We don't know how the universe was created, and we probably never will. But your arguement...and all of your addendums to it....are just making you look like you have no concept of logic.

JH: I go through this at least once a day. Maybe this time I'll copy over the answer so I can paste it back for the next guy who asks it.
You obviously have some notion of what a creator is. Let's go with the simplest form and say he's something like a watch-maker. At one point in time there was no watch - and then he did his thing ...and ... voila! we have a Rolex!
BUt let's examine what really happened. Did he actually create anything? Or did he merely re-organize already EXISTING materials into a new form? In fact, in this sense has never been a human who has "created" a single object.
And just as that "creator" concept is fictitious, or empty, when it's looked at a little closer in the human scale, you will find it offers no better explanation for the universe as a whole.

first of all evolution: no. think about it. if the world supposedly became out a "ball of fire" or some kind of "massive explosion" what was the source of the first cell. In the laws of science there is always a first cell, that multiplies, and creates new groups. Okay, so what was the source of this first cell? (thus my point evolution is not real) People created math, and physics, yes. Newton, and all those other scientist. Didn't you pass the 8th grade sheez. Thats kind of a no brainer there. Bottom line - God created the earth, and the people and the minds and they created thier cultures and education etc. Read a Bible.

I am not an atheist. I do believe in a higher power, however to say that science was created by great minds is just ignorant. Science is proved by great minds. The laws of creation are a product of evolution. Darwin's theories make a whole lot more sense than the teachings of the bible. If you can prove to me that the universe was created by a god then I will believe it. It seems to me that by asking this question you are not sure about your own religious choices.

Laws of creation? Since the creation story is a myth these laws you assign to it must also be a myth. If you are referring to the physical laws of nature then yes these exist and rule our very existance. However, I see no reason to believe that 'anybody' created them. Try looking outside of that little box that religion has placed you into and seeing the world for what it really is.....

Wow... this is pretty much the most bone-headed question I've seen for a while. First of all, there are no 'Laws of Creation'. As for the rest of it... the 'Laws' that you refer to really do not 'exist'... they are just mathematical relationships that were deduced from observation of dynamic interactions in the natural world, and via experiment. In other words, the 'Laws' of science and mathematics came from scientists and mathematicians.

this is the same sorta question couple of arab muslims asked me; where did the world come from if nobody created it..they presumed that obviously it was the work of god.
u should read bertrand russell, if u want answers to u'r stereotype questions. if u mean to say god created all things then logic says u should ask who created god. if u are an atheist, good for u. u probably need the support. but don't try to use logic to confirm ur belief. it's a matter of faith and certainly not provable.

In science, the burden of proof is on YOU to demonstrate the these things came from "god".
It is not the default position that "god" exists and created these things until proven otherwise.
You apparently know nothing about science.
I pity you, and your science teachers.
PS: I love your line "there was nothing that produced the something"
How can you be so uneducated as to not see the glaring contradiction and logical error in that???

wtf.
this is the dumbest point I have ever seen.
Scientific laws were created by great minds. Yes the Laws were made by smart men, because they sat down and thought logically, and didn't say that everything was how it is because of an invisible netherbeing.
Now if you want to learn about gravity, here you go:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravity
You will find that there is no mention of God in there, I guess rational thinking is just trying to keep God down or something.
You need to take off those sunglasses and see the light.
