What I believe here in the US its one date, now to get in her pants you may have to be a boyfriend and for some time. But hell a kiss is only a kiss

It quite always depends on the situation that you two build up.
It can happen in the very first date. It just depends on how much you two want to kiss each other.
If you see that she looks "ready" for a kiss then don't think too much, but give it to her.

It varies from girl to girl. If the girl is conservative, she probably wants to officially be going out with you before you kiss her, and you probably have to find out that she's reasonably comfortable with you (being physical with her) before you kiss her. Don't ask her right out, though (that might just ruin it). Try to find out from her body language and pick up ques from your convos with her.
If she's not conservative, then... maybe she wants a kiss on the first date (a lot of girls do). You can find out by asking mutual friends.
There's no set answer. It varies from girl to girl.

Feel it out, if its not right on the first. Show a respect and dont be too pushy. It will happen on the second date.
But if she goes in for the kill on the firstdate, run with it.
