that's just street talk by guys for guys, would you want to sleep with a player (who probably has a STI - eeeeew) and i am sure guys don't want to sleep with woman carrying STI's plus a woman is supposed to be elegant - not trashy.

Well, society is the one that cataloged women as being more conservative in the first place. You really can't blame a guy if he says something wrong.
When raised men are shown to go out with as many woman as he can before he settles down. As opposed to women who "supposedly" tought to hold off their virginity till marriage.
Nowadays, it doesn't work like that, but, many people still have these concepts for each sex.
While, it is not right to generalize women with these names, it doesn't necessarily mean, that guys are the bad ones.
Enough time has not passed for society to realize the whole equality thing. Also, keep in mind that opening doors, giving up seats on bus/trains, boy asking out the girl are things that still happen today and are rewarded with positive statements of the men who perform them, it also, works in a negative way for the people who don't follow the "regualr" norms.

Women are supposed to be the more homely, sweet and caring gender, not, the partying, drinking and having sex gender .... if you want to do so, you will have to live with the name calling and shallowness of the people you meet. At the end all a guy can then want from you is just sex.

Because unfortuneatly for women, society punishes them for having relations with a large numeber of men, but men a re rewarded for it. It's unfair, I being a man will be the first to admit it, but its just the way society is.
Now before you go off on some "psycho pro-women" tangent think about it, although in your case women are at the disadvantage think about all the stupid things society expects men to up hold, exampls like " men shouldnt cry, men cannot hit women, men are expected to pay on dates, men are supposed to lose their virginty sooner than women. Theres alot of these silly things society asks men to do, probably just as many as women.
Dont try and fight it, society is already heading for the worse, the last thing it needs is changeing right now. Look at it in a positive way, by having this fear of being called a slut, or whore, it might keep some girls from having sex to early or with the wrong guy. These names (although hurtful and wrong) may keep some 14 yr old girl from having sex with 20 different guys before she even turns 21. Its important that EVERYONE practice safe sex to prevent unwanted pregnancy, The Aids virus, and other problems that my arise from sex. I dont support these names, and I do not use them, but they may be the very thing that keeps people from making a misteaks.

There is no need for women to be called these names as if they want to share their bodies with a lot of men then that is their choice.Us men are only called a player or a stud or some other form of congragual name because a lot of men like to brag about the amount of women they have slept with.My thoughts on this digust me as a man can contract std's just as easily as a woman and we can pass them on too.So as far as i am concernd a woman who wants to have as many partners in bed as any male should be respected for her personal choice.

It is unfair because the guy should get the same name actually. I think we all should not be sleeping with everyone we are attracted to. If it was cool for a girl to have sex with anyone they are attracted to there will be a lot more babies in this world that are not getting taken care of. Women are the one that have to take care of the child. If the guy has no feeling for the woman and just used this woman for sex most likely he is not going to take responsibilies for his action. Yeah its ridiculous if you enjoy sex and are a girl its bad but if you are a guy and you enjoy sex then the more the merrier. Men can get STD's too but its ok for them to sleep with all these women. So its not about that whoever said that. I think tho for anyone to sleep with umpteen million other people is bad anyway. Not that you should only sleep with one person but you know what i mean. Mostly because the girls who are jealous of them call them names. Also, women are more likely than men to piss people off by sleeping around. Generally speaking, women are more sensitive to other people's feelings, but as soon as a woman feels like she has every right to do something (or someone), she doesn't care who she hurts.

I've known girls with limited sex histories get called sluts and whores, and known others who sleep around with tons of guys and no one hangs a name on them. It's usually the girl you are stealing the guy from that is going to hate you. If you have sex with men who don't respect you, that'll ruin the rep too--they'll tell everyone how easy you are. If you go out and seduce men who adore you, and then drop them to pursue other men, you can get away with it if you are careful with the men's feelings.

Anyone who sleeps around has to keep respect for him/her-self and the people they are sleeping with (sleeping w/ someone you don't respect is not showing self-respect). Be honest about your intentions and do your best not to crush anyone's heart, and you won't have to worry about what people say.

Because people are stupid!!!!! My guy friends say stuff like that and I just don't get it. If they could get with some of these women they would, but at the same time they call her a ho. As long as a woman is honest just wanting to casually date/hook up then I have no problem with her. After all I'm sometimes the same way.
