It's not your memory. It seems more education is in order. An average person only uses about 10% of his/her minds capacity.
You haven't been exercising it enough. The more you learn, the more you know. The recall will be strongest when you learn something that really interests you or has made an impact.

Well first I would ask how old you are? and then I would ask What are you smoking? There is no magical answer to how to learn more. Open your mind to what is going on around you. READ A BOOK . see movies that stimulate your brain and that don't just blow things up. Listen to music that has no words. Go to live theatre or better yet get involved in community theatre. try out for a play. If you can learn line you can learn anything!!!

Read widely -- fiction, nonfiction, poetry, newspapers, magazines, whatever you can get your hands on.
