There is this girl that i really like. Her parents are really good friends with my parents, but she lives in another country. This summer she visited me in california and now im in her country. While she was in california we went to magic mountain. While waiting for one of the rides we began to talk. I had decided before hand that i would not ask her out because we live so far away. We got on the subject and i told her i liked her. It kind of slipped. Afterwards, it became awkward because i had slipped. She broke the silence by saying "Well, im kind of happy to hear that". There are a lot of reasons I can think about why I should stay away from this, but i cant stop thinking about her. We are in different cities right now. However, in 8 days or so we are going to be in the same city together for only 3-4 days. I feel like the 3 days isnt the only chance i have to make this work because our parents our good friends. Should I ask her out in those 3-4 days or should I even ask her at all?

chances are if she said she was kind of happy to hear what you said then there is a pretty high chance she is feeling the same way. Yes go for it ask her out granted long distance relationships are a bioch to make work but sometimes is worth the wait after all absence makes the heart grow fonder and you never know things could change fairly easily so that you guys are allot closer and would have a better chance of making your relationship work

follow your heart. in my case, long distance relationship didn't work out. ( we were both in the states).

but, i know my friend had a long distance relationship between U.S. and Japan for couple years. They finally got married and are happy now.

it's not a distance. If you both really love each other, it'll work out. even if you guys are in the same city, if you're not meant to be together, then it won't work out.
