Yes DAR, I'm not sure what I was asking in this question either. Tinkerbell, that's kind of an interesting place and link you sent. Puppy Zwolle, you too are correct but I wasn't thinking along those lines for this question. lucky2balive, actually where I live in Michigan, much of Canada could also be considered South of the border as well.

Not for me, "south of the border" means mexicans, who in our country are only some of the illegals living here. The argument is illegal immigration not mexican illegal immigration. If you are against all illegals, then you should never mention a specific nationality in your arguments for there are many different races that are illegal. If you really wanna seal the southern border to stop illegals, then seal the whole united states, because illegals come in throught the northern border and our shorelines too. So, "south of the border" means great food to me, not illegals, thank you.

You mean as in Bush wishes there were no borders so his friends could get to all that nice Gulf oil, and why won't the people shut up and absorb the social services costs so he can get on with it?

I'm not sure what you are asking.

I thought "South of the Border" was a song.

South of the Border is in Dillon,South Carolina. There is a big statue of Pedro and lots of fireworks for sale. They have alot of tourist stores with soveniers.Oh,and a wedding chapel where you can get married with pictures and fake flowers.real cheesy.

South of the Border is still the same, just ride on hwy95 south through North Carolina. You'll see the signs.

Well, there is still a border, and the country of Mexico is still south of it, so you are an idiot. Thanks for the 2 points, though!
