For me it is people who can't form a coherant question or answer. I understand that spelling and proper grammar may not be everyones thing. But if you're going to ask a question, don't you think it would be nice if people actually understood what you were asking? As for spelling, there's no excuse, there's a spell checker right there. Yahoo gives more than enough characters to form a complete thought without reverting to leaving words out.

I'm getting some great answers so far. Thanks. It's going to be hard to choose a Best Answer. I'll leave it open a while longer. Another pet peeve of mine is when you give a serious answer, and yours gets chosen as best answer but only because the asker wants to flame on your answer.
Foul avitars and on screen names irk me too.

I feel the same way. People who can't spell annoy me, as well as people who don't know where apostrophes should be used or use ‘there’ and ‘their’ in the wrong context. People, these are basic English skills.
11 year olds that seek advice from complete strangers about their 2 second love life - Now that really bugs me.

I feel sorry for some of the kids on here asking questions about who has big boobs? is it okay to go #2 in your friends moms flower pot?
The inflammatory remarks about race gender and religion. Completely unnecessary.
Grammar- if it is poorly asked- chances are the ask-er is not too serious about getting answers. The spell check is a great tool- use it.
I don't have room for a whole lot more- But thanks for the 2 points ( JUST KIDDING!!!!!!! LOL)

I hate when people drop a question in to a category that it does not belong to (ex: a dating question in the dancing category)
I also hate it when people dont know about or care about the question and give a BS answer to get the points. I have asked questions because I genuinely needed help and got nothing but filler answers. It was incredibly frustrating.

I hate it when it comes to answering a question. You go about, taking the time to write a well thought out answer to a question - only to find that is has been deleted. The deleted question should not let you be able to click "Answer This Question" or at least be removed quicker. That really burns my buns... Grrrr.....
Ha Ha! ...buns... <:o)

Amen!!! So many of these questions (and answers), seem as though they were written by someone with a kindergarten education! It's not a race! Pay attention to spelling, grammar, and punctuation people! We look as though we've been educated by animals!

I hate people who use bad language. They always find ways around the system to use words that are blocked out. They will put spaces between each letter or something like that. Come on people, grow up! Keep your swearing at the bar or work or something. Don't bring it here, it's suppose to be fun, not trashy!

I don't like all of the email lingo, such as u instead of you or 2 instead of to. I totally agree with you point about spelling though. Use the spell checker! I don't like it when people answer questions with responses such as "I don't know" or "Who cares". I agree with Laz about 11-year-olds asking for advice about their "boyfriends".

My biggest peeve is that rude people are not booted off the site and banned quicker.
My second pet peeve is what you said.

My BIGGEST Pet Peeve (you did ask for only one) are the people that give jerk-off answers to serious questions.
I 'm sorry, I don't know any other way to put it.

I hate those too. But I also can't stand racist questions where the asker thinks they aren't racist...they aggravate. And stuff like 'who wants to chat with me?'...they're a waste of space
