I can see why you were upset, I would be too if I were left in a car for 45 minutes so that guy could do God know's what to her. Maybe you should tell her why you were upset about it, just let her know that she upset you for basically ditching you in the car.

It's always a good thing to keep the lines of communication going with your mom... she's the only one you have and the situation wasn't that deep. To shut down and not speak to your mother was of course disrespectful. You feel... what you feel, but maybe you should have (in a respectful tone) explained to your mother that you didn't quite understand why she left you sitting for nearly an hour.... especially since it seemed quite apparent she wanted to go home. Let her know that you felt a bit annoyed at the situation and then move on.
Be aware of the times when you might have kept her or someone else waiting on you and remember... it happens.

I would say not you were not wrong. I mean i would be pissed if i was left sitting in the car for like 45 min.
Especially if she was getting hit on by a get-rich quick bum, or was getting suckered by one. either way that was a pretty crap thing to do. She should have known way before then if the guy deserved the number or not and then either given it or not and gotten back to you.
I would not trust that guy though. He sounds like one of those ignorant get rich quick guys. They always fail and most the time are freeloaders. like evil leaches. They buy into those schemes because they are to lazy to work. Some times they work for a bit then the bottom falls out of the pyramid.

If I've learned anything in my life, it was to have Patience with others. Think of all the times your mother may have waited on you. First she waited 9 month for you to be born. Then she waited in the waiting room with you every time she had to take you to the doctor. Give a little...so it was uncool that she made you wait. Listen to the radio, or find something to do with your time. There may be a day you need her to wait on you for something. Instead of being a brat about waiting you could have told her "It's okay that I had to wait on you mom, someday, I may ask you to do the same for me too."
Don't waste a single minute being mad at mom over trivial things, one days when she is gone, all you will have of her is the memories, so make all the great memories that you can with her. It will make you a better daughter, and someday if you chose, a better mother. (mother of six, daughter of many)

Maybe you should talk to her and say your worried about what happened with that guy (even if your not) that way, she'll open up to you and probably say why she was with him so long. But me being you, I would've gone back after 10 min, just to make sure she's just talking and nothing is weird. Ask her who was that guy and did she know him before. Tell her if she does that again, your going back after 15 min. and that you were worried about her. Even if you weren't

If your mom and this guy were interested in each other, they should have made arrangements to meet another time instead of leaving you waiting in the car. I would be mad too.

Maybe you should take it easy on your mom? Some of us women need attention and maybe she is looking for attention from a man right now. Just give her time.

what you're feeling right now is normal since she rushed you out of the store.but whatever they talked about must be something really important that she needed to stay 45 extra mins inside.learn to understand..

I don't know how old you are, but acting pouty is not very mature.
Some of your mother's behavior is none of your business. Don't
take it so personally if your Mom shares her attention with someone
else. Let it go.
