It was strange because she was chasing me and then when she finally caught up with me she said ahe was sorry and then stabbed my in the heart! i had the feeling that i was dying but then woke up before i acually died!
What could this mean?

Well, perhaps you have had arguments and fight with your mother and you should have a talk with her and tell her how you feel so that you both can be more happy together.
If you both are already happy with each other, then what you dreamt was perhaps random. No need to worry and you don't have to sleep with one eye open. Your mother loves you and perhaps you know that too.
I once had a dream that my dad tried to kill me. It was wired and scary. I thought I had the dream because my father and I fought all the time and perhaps that's why. My father and I are fine now.

perhaps something you have done in the past which hurt your mum. most likely to be something stupid you did as a kid. you've the expression out of parents many times " i dont know whether to hug him/her or give him/her a good hiding" that's because what they did frightened the parent so much ie child getting lost or in trouble.you cant tell me that you havent put your mum through that at some point and she would not be able to hide that fear from you at any age. a comment passed that day could subconsiously raise a memory and be translated this way.

Dreams are just that- DREAMS. Your brain uses the time you are asleep to process all of the things you saw and smelled and heard and learned during the day. It is a biological process, not a spiritual experience. Unless you feel like you are actually in danger, your dreams mean nothing. Hopefully that is what you were hoping to hear. :)

Wow, you may have some issues with your mom. Perhaps some argument triggered you to have that sort of dream.
Dreaming of being stabbed could also mean you are being criticized by her in reality. Being chased could mean being disciplined. Maybe to you, you don't obey her the way you think she wanted to? That is also probably out of your guilt conscience.

A lot of times you dream horrible things that you know won't come true.... I have had crazy dreams about being eated by alligators and heck ya they are scary i've woken up crying, but that in no way means it's going to happen. You probably fell asleep with something on your mind and it just played into your dream.

I agree with still standing; there have been many scientific studies about dreamings, and most of the effects can be linked to chemical activation or inactivation in the brain, like the cholinergic system. They explain irrationality of dreams, poor memory, vivid imagery, high emotional content, and so forth. Don't worry about your mom; even if you do have issues your sleeping brain likely blew it way out of proportion.

'so hows your relation ship with your mother?' , the infamous question asked by and equally infamous psychiatrist but still a valid one. Perhaps your dreams are simply a reflection of your subconscious fear that you are beginning to grow apart from your mother. I suggest working on your relationship with her more and telling her about your dream she might have an angle that you never thought of

Dreams are just dreams, trying to interpret will only confuse you more try not to take it seriously. I once dreamnt that my little sis tried to kill me, doesns't mean im going to sleep with my bedroom door closed . There are different ways of interpreting a dream it doesn't neccessarily mean anything
