♡Yes, most answers are right.
I say 'kumo' for cloud or spider here in Japan.

'Kumo' means;
1. kumo ( 雲 : くも )
cloud

2. kumo ( 蜘蛛 : くも )
spider
Here's a source for you to check it with:
http://www.yesjapan.com/dictionary/yesjapan200k.php?language=Japanese&searchplace=beginning&searchfor=kumo&maxsearch=25
You can see it written in Japanese ↑there too.
Hope this helps!♡

I actually live in Japan and I'm pretty sure kumo is spider.

Look at the kanji symbols. If there is only one kanji ("kumo"), that means "cloud." If there are two kanji symbols ("ku" + "mo"), that means "spider."

It means either a "spider" or a "cloud." I need to see the kanji character for the word or the sentence in which the word appeared to tell which.
