ok i cant stand when people say that since i dress preppy and do my hair im gay when im holding hands with my gf. and i dont understand why people call my gf a a fake ,slutty barbie doll.ok first of all just cause she likes to tan, and wears mini skirts, and is thin she gets called that. why?

People are jealous. My boyfriend is preppy and no one calls him gay, maybe you have a boyish face, or there's something feminine about you. Ask one of your girlfriends friends for an objective opinion, best friends can be scathing so don't take too much to heart if she tears you up.
Also the worst offense a hetero-man can stomach is being called gay. It may be your personality makes people want to take mental stabs at you. Ya know bring you down off your high preppy horse.

They are jealous. People will talk **** when they wish they had things you have or look the way you look. I had that problem dumb "barbie doll" crap in high school and the best thing to do is just ignore them and not let it get to you..be the stronger person and make sure you don't stoop down to their level because that what those people are wanting...they live to make you upset so don't give them the satisfaction

Why? Because people are stupid. That's basically all I can say. Just because I'm red-headed and smart, I'm labeled as a quite, dorky, nerd. I'm far from. Though I'm smart (very smart actually), I am constantly saying or doing something stupid (I never think. lol), and I can never shut up. I'm either rambling on or laughing until I choke.
People put labels because they have limited vocabulary and are stupid. I'm sorry to hear that people say that. Just tell them to shut up.
Here, let's play a roll-playing game:
Person: You're gay!
You: No I'm not.
Person: You dress all preppy and stuff, you're gay.
You: Shut up, you're labeling, and showing just how ignorant and stupid you are.
Person: Whatever. *they'll probably leave*
You: Exactly. *say something like "exactly" or "yeah" when you don't need to just to confuse them, works every time*

People are petty and jealous. My husband actually got accused of being gay at work! Well, not accused but they assumed he was because he dresses nice and does his hair as well. I get my fair share of nasty comments as well. It used to bother me, but anymore I just consider the source and forget about it.

idk im thin,skinny, and love to wear mini skirts too but not too many people call me a slut just me and my frends lol we all have nicknames but i know some people do call me a slut. but the reason y they r callin her a slut is bc they r jelous. they wish to be like her and if the boys r calling her it, its bc they wish they has someone as good as her. and all bc u like to do ur hair and stuff dont mean ur gay. it just means u like to look good for ur gal. and everyone. just dont listen to anyone if their gona be jerks. just ignore their comments and remember the truth in ur head....ur not gay...and ur girlfriend aint fake or a sluty barbie! their all just jelouse of yah! sounds like these people have an issue with a guy with a beautiful girl hanging of his arm.maybe it is because they wish it was them and not you with her.As for calling you gay that would be because they are trying to put you down in front of her and try to spark up a fight just so they can put you down in front of her.If you and your G/F are happy together then who really cares what anyone has to say as it is not them and they should just get on with their own miserable lives.

Why are you so worried about what other people have to say about you and your girlfriend. They are totally jealous and that is the only reason it is said. I know it's hard but just ignore it. You know you aren't gay and well, you girlfriend does also..
