My mother had a cat that ended up with leukemia. It didn't end well. But that was 15 years ago and there are options other than having them put to sleep or letting them suffer. Just take it one day at a time. Enjoy the cats good days and be glad you had her in your life. Her Vet will go over everything with you.

Borderline? Never heard of it. It's like a pregnancy test - it's either positive or negative. If there was an error on the test, they should have retested for free right then and there. If it ends up being positive, there are options, talk with the vet. If she's already too ill, don't let her suffer. If she is negative, vaccinate!

my kitten had leukemia and it was missed before we adopted her, she was fine the first day, then sick the next, they said she and an upper respiratory infection (URI) and it never got better, he liver shut down and she turned yellow(leukemia causes jaundice), her bowels were going through her urine and i could only force feed her baby food, the cat suffered and cried for 4 days, the best thing was to have her put down...i bought her on a sunday, and she was euthanized by thursday, how old is your cat? if its a kitten they should have done a test before even giving him to you, hope you make the right choice or i hope the test was wrong! let me know if you have any other questions jjever18@hotmail.com

certain and No. in case you had Leukemia your blood artwork must be odd, frequently severly odd. which could instantaneous furthur sorting out, consisting of sorting out of the bone marrow which could indicated Leukemia. Many different cancers would not coach odd bloodwork till the most cancers become far greater frequently. Lymphoma will now and again have odd bloodwork in early levels, yet ussualy no longer.

I agree.....But do not allow your kitty around other cats...If your wonderful pet ends up passing away....You CAN get another kitty....Just get a new litter pan and clean your place moderatly...I hope all goes well.......
