I'm not talking about gay people, althought I don't really know why they do it either. But the normal Lispers, is there something wrong with their tounges, why not just pronounce the S?

There isn't anything wrong with their tongues. It is the way their tongue connects or doesn't connect to other parts of their mouth when they say their "s." In other words, they are not forming words correctly. Read more about lisping at the link below.
