The majority of the bible, especially the New Testament speaks about Jesus. I find it very foolish to minize the importance of Jesus.
Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father and the Son. 1 John 2:22
For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord. Jude 1:4

13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. 14 But John tried to deter him, saying, "I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?"
15 Jesus replied, "Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness." Then John consented.
16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. 17And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased." Matthew 3:13-17

Compare Jesus against Muhammed and use your own reasoning as to who is from God and who isn't!
Jesus is the Son of God (John 10:36) - Mohammed was a
man (Surah 18:110)
Jesus performed miracles (Mark 7:37) - Mohammed did
not perform miracles (Surah 17:59)
Jesus knew what is inside people's hearts (Revelation
2:23) - Mohammed did not know what is inside People's
hearts (Surah 11:31)
Jesus is our advocate with the Father (1 John 2:1 & 2)
- Mohammed is not our advocate with the Father (Surah
9:80)
Jesus forbade His followers to use the sword (Matthew
26:52) - Mohammed urged his followers to use the sword
(Surah 8:65)
Jesus taught forgiveness (Matthew 5:38,39) - Mohammed
taught revenge (Surah 2:194)
Jesus was sinless (1 Peter: 2:22) - Mohammed was
sinful (Surah 47:19)
Jesus words never change (Matthew 24:35) - The Quran
words changed (Surah 16:101)
Jesus healed the blind man (Luke 18:35-43) - Mohammed
turned away from the blind man (Surah 80:1-10)
Jesus called on people to come to Him (Matthew
11:28-30) - Mohammed was admonished because he sent
people away (Surah 6:52)
Jesus taught monogamy (Matthew 19:5,6) - Mohammed
taught polygamy (Surah 4:3)
People were free to accept Jesus' message or reject it
(Luke 10:10,11) - People were forced to accept
Mohammed's message (Surah 9:29)

We believe that there couldnt be two gods..bcoz if the 2 gods are angry at each other or have contradicting ideas, what would happen to the earth and we believe that jesus can only be prophet because jesus is the messenger of Allah and he did something like what Muhammad did..spreading the call to worship Allah, verily, u cant trust ur holy book bcoz i see lots of contradiction in it. And also there's lots more reason if you care to read the Qur'an, its a logical book, and it says the earlier christians keep changing the text for their own self,
following are the contradiction
Who incited David to count the fighting men of Israel?
(a) God did (2 Samuel 24: 1)
(b) Satan did (I Chronicles 2 1:1)
When did David bring the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem? Before defeating the Philistines or after?
(a) After (2 Samuel 5 and 6)
(b) Before (I Chronicles 13 and 14)

They were taught by their parents wrong doctrine.
They were raised to believe that and adults find it very hard to change even if shown they are wrong. So it keeps being handed down generation after generation.
The same is true with the Christian faith. They all agree Jesus was not born on Dec 25, a christmas tree has nothing to do with christ but the birthday of the sun god. Who they incorporated into the Christian faith knowing it was false. Santa Clause?
Is that true? So is it any wonder they do the same thing?
Jesus performed many miracles that proved he was the messiah. We have learned that from our parents.
All persons on the planet haven't had that information.

Jesus was not a prophet. He is the son of living God. If anyone can't accept Him as that. they will never see the kingdom of heaven.
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

It is simple, He (Jesus) must be lower than the prophet Muhammad or the teachings of Jesus would clearly be more substantial than Muhammad. This would give more weight to the fact that Jesus is who He said He is and Muhammad would be nothing more than a man who was on a warrior's mission and Jesus is indeed Christ for everyone.

Your Question might sound interesting but is equally weak...I wont say its wrong though because the whole question is based on Your beliefs and your point of view. I may cross question you - why believe Jesus(pbuh) as Lord and not a prophet? The majority of the bible speaks about Jesus, so does the Quran! Infact the Quran even has a whole chapter named after Mary, mother of Jesus! Even if we go by the present day 'Bible' - most of which is corrupted, you wont be able to find one single verse in which Jesus unequivocally says - I am Your Lord -. You may struggle to - but dont you sense something wrong with that? , the fact that the "majority" of present day Bible speaks about Jesus, yet not a single verse that talks about his divinity? -
Infact the Bible talks about the prophetic nature of Jesus's message. -And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.(Mattew 19:17)
For a simple reason id like to answer the first half of your Question...we believe God doesnot need to cry, sorrow is a human nature, and a human is His creation. Yet u may come across many places in the bible where Jesus cries out loud in pain. He even cries to the Lord for "Forsaking him". Its just simple logic i tried to apply here...also its very human.
-For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.(Timothy 2:5)....
And...
-"I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me". - These are a few popular verses of the bible and many more which prove the prophetic nature of Jesus(pbuh). These facts are enough for the wise, but manier times ppl. get confused by complicating the issue. Id advise them to look into the scriptures - Quran and the Bible - as i request you too. What i tried to do is just follow the Quran which says "Invite all to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching...". So here i tried - AllahuAlem. The Quran also says..“Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands clear from error:..” (Quran 2:256). I hope my words don't sound twisted to you.
Assalam alaikum.

And it is YOUR right to believe as you wish. There is a problem though. HOW do you know that what you find in your Bible is correct? You are relying on what others chose to include in the Bible... what about the other disciples' Gospels? Judas. Timothy. Etc. The Gospel According to James (brother of JC) was considered blasphemous by the Roman Catholic Church. Likewise, the recent discoveries of Mary Magdalene and Judas. mWhy? Because it contradicts what they've been teaching all along? But, goodness, what if they are only telling you half the story... and there's more to the whole story and these newly discovered, newly translated Gospels shed more light on the overall picture of JC? What do YOU know of the historical JC? Do you know where he spent his formative years after he was a child that astounded the temple priests with His wisdom?
Look, he was said to have been born in Bethlahem, right? Yet, he was called the Nazarean... not because he was born in Nazareth... (that town was not in existence during his time on Earth... but 200 years after His crucifiction). That was one of several political groups (Essenes, Zealots, etc) that he was associated with, and one of the reasons he was crucified... he was a member of a political group that opposed the Roman imposed king who was NOT a legitimate Jewish King (remember, Mary, his mother was from the line of King David and King Solomon... he HAD royal blood) and the members of this group believed in the coming Messiah... an annointed one, to be king and to help expell the invaders (the Romans). He made prophesies. He, therefore, was a prophet. Like so many others in the Old Testiment.
Hey, JC was not a "Christian." He was born, raised and died a Jew! He is recognized, as Abraham, in the Koran because of his achievements and his wisdom and message of love.
If I deny the existence of something YOU choose to believe in, I am expressing my own personal beliefs... not blatantly lying but merely making an expression of my own beliefs...
Do not become a genius of your own opinion. Do not take for granted that you were necessarily told the ENTIRE truth about JC... there are many missing gaps there. And, also, learn how the Bible came about during Emperor Constantine's time (around 320 AD), when he gathered groups of religious leaders and ordered them to come to some agreement (they differed in what they thought was important and unimportant) and what should or should not be included or excluded for their own personals reasons and based on their own person interpretations and for their own personal agenda (to weld power over others, to be able to collect offerings... etc). Read history before you impose what you've been told on others because you might not have been told ALL the truth... after all, the Gospels were written many decades after JC had died... by very elderly men with faulty memories and they may have also agrandized him a bit... or filled their memories with a bit of mysticisms...
If you ARE strong in your faith, you won't mind reading and making corrections in what you were taught. Remember, there was a time when people thought the Earth was flat, the sun was the center of the universe and that blood-letting would cure! Times change and new facts come into play. There ARE no historical proofs that what the Bible says is true... only speculations and assumptions made by others, and agreements made by a committee as to what should be included or not in the Bible... but remember, there were 12 deciples... where are those other Gospels? Why were they excluded? Be weilling to learn; read history. Find out about the Dead Sea Scrolls, and the the Nag Hammadi Scrolls, too.
Listen, what is the most important part of JC's life? His supposed powers? His knowledge and wisdom? Or his message of love?
Do not take the Bible too literal... you're committing the same errors that so many other zealots have done in the past in condemnation of others... that has only brought about strife and bloodshed... hatred and mayhem... read with an open mind, and do not repeat what you don't understand... that's like a mule carrying a load of books... the load of books don't make the mule much smarter, does it?

Because Allah s.w.t is the Only One true God, and He chose Jesus the Prophet as the messenger of HIs words before Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Allah wants to show His true existence by showing a miracle through Mary..and Jesus born and from there Jesus spreading words of Allah s.w.t, but at the time the pharaoh hates him so much for Jesus preachings and they wanted to kill him..The pharaoh found Jesus and killed him. He died..but they didnt know that Jesus soul was resurrected to Heaven, at the moment of his body ( which was switched with somebody else, which Allah s.w.t change that somebody's face to Jesus's..and making the pharaoh believes that they killed Jesus ).
We believe in the true bible at that Jesus time
( NOT THE NEW VERSION- as its already been altered for so many times and was created to suit every christians lifestyle at this present)
after Jesus was resurrected, Allah appointed Prophet Muhammad ( since he was in his mother's womb )
to be his Perfect Messenger and carry the same contains of Bible into Holy Quran..and it's fast spreading to whole world.. and there is no more Prophets and new religion from Allah s.w.t..
as ISLAM is the only perfect religion to guide us..humans...

The Christian does not know that the true spirit of charity which the Muslim displays, always, towards Jesus and his mother Mary spring from the fountainhead of his faith - the Holy Quran. He does not know that the Muslim does not take the holy name of Jesus, in his own language, without saying Eesa, alaihi assalam ("Jesus, peace be upon him")
The Christian does not know that in the Holy Quran Jesus is mentioned twenty five times. For example:
"We gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear signs and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit" (The Holy Quran 2:87)
"O Mary! God giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary..." (3:45)
"...Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) an apostle of god..." (4:171)
"...And in their foot steps we sent Jesus the son of Mary..." (5:46)
"And Zakariya and John, and Jesus and Elias: all in the ranks of the righteous." (6:85)
Jesus - His Titles
Though Jesus is mentioned by name in twenty-five places in the Holy Quran, he is also addressed with respect as: Ibn Maryam, meaning "The son of Mary"; and as the Maseeh (in Hebrew it is the Messiah), which is translated as "Christ". He is also known as Abdullah, "The servant of Allah"; and as Rasul u Allah, the messenger of Allah.
He is spoken of as "The Word of God", as "The Spirit of God", as a "Sign of God", and numerous other epithets of honor spread over fifteen different chapters. The Holy Quran honors this mighty messenger of God, and the Muslims have not fallen short over the past fourteen hundred years in doing the same. There is not a single disparaging remark in the entire Quran to which even the most jaundiced among the Christians can take exception.
Eesa Latinised to "Jesus"
The Holy Quran refers to Jesus as Eesa, and this name is used more times than any other title, because this was his "Christian" name. Actually, his proper name was Eesa (Arabic), or Esau (Hebrew); classical Yeheshua, which the Christian nations of the West latinised as Jesus. Neither the "J" nor the second "s" in the name Jesus is to be found in the original tongue - they are not found in the Semitic languages.
The word is very simply "E S A U" a very common Jewish name, used more than sixty times in the very first booklet alone of the Bible, in the part called "Genesis". There was at least one "Jesus" sitting on the "bench" at the trial of Jesus before the Sanhedrin. Josephus the Jewish historian mentions some twenty five Jesus' in his "Book of Antiquities". The New Testament speaks of "Bar-Jesus" a magician and a sorcerer, a false prophet (Acts 13:6); and also "Jesus-Justus" a Christian missionary, a contemporary of Paul (Colossians 4:11). These are distinct from Jesus the son of Mary. Transforming "Esau" to (J)esu(s) - Jesus - makes it unique. This unique (?) name has gone out of currency among the Jews and the Christians from the 2nd century after Christ. Among the Jews, because it came to be a name of ill - repute, the name of one who blasphemed in Jewry; and among the Christians because it came to be the proper name of their God. The Muslim will not hesitate to name his son Eesa because it is an honored name, the name of a righteous servant of the Lord.
