Haven't you heard? Peace and Love are sooo last year. Greed and Hate are the new hot regions. You're nobody in today's world unless you live in Hate or Greed. C'mon, get with the times! :o)

I doubt there's anybody who "wants" to live in greed and hate. Most people try to live the best lives for themselves that they can. Understanding this is really what peace and love are all about.

Because some people have more or less than others. Until all people are forced to have the same amount of wealth, land, items, etc., greed and hate will dominate our world.

Greed is always as people need and want. Hate as long as people hurt each other and refuse to understand.

Because Satan wants them to. Satan is the ruler of this world, God gave him that dishonor when he banished him from heaven. Satan has a great influence in the lives of most of the people in this world, including many Christians who struggle. (Myself included in the struggling part). The way to defeat Satan is through prayer and asking the Holy Spirit for help.
