John the Gynecologist.
It says so in King Lebron's New Living Revised International Version.

I posted this on another one of your questions but thought I'd provide it here too. Did you know that the word "virgin" in the bible days meant "young unmarried woman?" It did not necessarily mean being an actual virgin.. you could be called a virgin as long as you were unmarried.
Many people believe a Roman soldier, named Pantera, is the biological father of Jesus.
EDITED to answer poster's question below:
There are MANY things that have been taken out of the bible (or didn't make it in) by religious leaders, such as Constantine. This Pantera story is actually a well known story among theologists.

No one had to. Because God knew there would be questions like this, He sent an angel to tell Joseph that Mary wasn't lying.
Joseph didn't want to marry Mary after he found out she was pregnant because he knew they didn't have sex. So he assumed she got pregnant from another guy.
However, an angel cleared that up for Joseph and he married her.

We will probably never know. By the way, where does a Roman soldier fit into this? I have never heard any evidence saying a soldier was Jesus' father. GOD was His father, not a human.

The word virgin, as used in those times in history, simply means "young unmarried girl". It had nothing to do with her sexuality.
