Have you looked into the National Foundation for Transplants? Here is the link for more information: http://www.transplants.org/
They claim to help people who need transplants to pay for them, as well as all the other costs associated with the transplant. If you haven't contacted them, I would do so right away.
Another thing is that if she is an orphan and is a foster child she is under the responsiblity of the state and they should pay for it. Talk to the department of children and families in your state to see what she qualifies for.

hey I think what you need to do is pull up a few friends of yours go to several neighbourhoods witha pic of the girl and the medical history ( just in case ) and ask for donation. Also you can have a get together thrown in with tickets being sold to everyone who wants to join in, have a lot of entertainment, have a kids dancing competition , or a stand up comedy competition, or a play, and the winner gets a great prize. have a dinner hosted at the end of it! Make sure you get a few parents to sponsor for your gifts, prizes and food!

raise money, you can hold a neighborhood BBQ and have a raffle for a tv (or something). make sure you can get more people to buy tickets than what the tv cost.
that should get you started on some ideas anyway.
