You have to be born in the US to be President.

Because that is what they do.....it's also known as an entry level position....Once they have assimulated, they will then make a minimum wage, and have menial jobs. That is the way of an illegal alien.

The Legal way for some is to be hired by a company, get a visa then apply for immigration. Some of these "migrants" do make a good living, and by law are making more money than the guy or "gal" that does the same job next to them. An example would be an engineer. Not to be confused with the railroad.

There are (legal) immigrants as Governors, Senators, etc.

However, it is not US saying they are here to pick fruit. It is the people who want to get amnesty and open borders saying 'don't worry, they won't take your job, they are only here to pick fruit, and that is a job you don't want to do?'

The fact is that the middle class ones are more likely to carry their own weight in taxes, since the poor aren't required to pay much in taxes and the rest of us have to pay for their education, etc. However, to the extent they became middle class because we paid for their education through high school and discounted their college, that is funding that was diverted from our own children and their ability to make a future for themselves.

Having said THAT we are where we are today, and I want to fix the problem, deport the undesirables (including gang members) and move forward. Fixing the problem won't happen with the Senate Bill, however. That Bill sucks.

Immigrants are misinterpreted to do menial jobs because they are just new in the community but there are many who have climbed up the economic ladder and can even become a president.

It makes for good publicity and generates that easily aroused American sympathy for the underdog. By throwing this non-issue around, illegal alien sympathizers can keep American's attention off of the fact that the illegal aliens are stealing jobs which once fueled the American middle class.

Well, theyre newcomers. They have to work their way up to get better jobs. Now, there are some I knew who had been in the US for all of a year and they already had a better house than we did. (Ours was two stories, like, rather big, etc.) And they did this all on welfare. As far as presidency goes, I thought you had to be born in the US?

Because or Presidents lies to the American people and makes his own laws. As P.T. Barnum said," You can fool some of the people all the time, you can fool all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all the time".
