It really depends on what you want the watch to do; and also what you want to do with the watch.

I am a pilot - and Breitling is a favourite amongs us, however my wrist has a Torgoen T6 pilots watch. Classic design with a clear face.

When night flying or tactical flying I use a Traser military pilots watch which I think is marketed in the USA as Luminox. The hands and numbers are fitted with tiny glass tubes filled with a sustance called Tritium which glows about ten times brighter than a normal watch - and never loses its glow because of this stuff inside it!

For a general all-round winner that is water-proof, bomb-proof and has a very simple layout, you can't go wrong with a watch from the Bell & Ross range - but it will cost about $2,000

Mid- range, the Omega Seamaster is a great watch. James Bond wears one! :) and it costs less than $1,000

Going right down the list, Citizen do some fantastic value and functional watches in their Promaster Range.

And if the budget is really tight, Casio do very tough and feature-packed watches in their G-Shock range.

It is estimated that over two thirds of the world’s population are aware of the Omega brand. With a one hundred and sixty year history and still thriving as one of the world’s most successful timepiece manufacturers, Omega watches are more popular than ever at auction, achieving great auction prices at McTear’s this year.

You will get plenty of different answers, and none are wrong..Rolex, Breitling, Chronoswiss, IWC, Patek Philippe, Zenith are just a few of the amazing watches that are out there... I would suggest goint out and finding one that YOU like, and not worrying about what a bunch of random strangers think

In India its TITAN. But if you have plenty of money, go for a SWISS watch. They can cost as little as CHF80 to CHF 1,37,000 (for INR, multiply with 37)
