This is the best thing to do for curly hair:

First, mix, in the palm of your hand, hair gel, leave in conditioner, and hot water. Put it through your hair and let air dry (or blow dry on a cool setting with a diffuser) the curls will be nice a soft and not frizzy and in the way.

You should also tie your hair with a bandana when you sleep so when you wake up, your hair isn't straight in some places, or crimped with a rubberband ring.

Hope this helps!

A moisturizing conditioner, and some product like a creme for curly hair that helps prevent frizz. Or, buy some straightening balm and blow it out straight.

Wash it everyday to keep it from getting knotty and use a good conditioner like Dove. Spray it with John Frieda Dream Curls and comb it. Then fluff it up a bit with your fingers. You'll have cute curls instead of a crazy head of waves and frizz.
