I have invented a burglar net which drops on him from the ceiling when he steps on a pressure pad under the window. It comes c/w with a baseball bat style, subduer club. I can't test it because my Mum won't let me screw four small white plastic-coated hooks into my celing and won't listen when I tell her we could be sitting on a fortune. Aren't parents supposed to encourage their children?

so what happens in a couple of years when YOU try and sneak back into your room through your window? Teenagers all across the world might not be too thrilled on that idea.

LOL...yes, but she probably doesn't want nets all over her ceiling! In my case.......I have a ton of windows and that is not something I would prefer guest seeing when they come into my home.
But it is a good idea for those who would feel safer with it, that don't care about the sight of it.

yes.. sounds good.. how about a big boxing glove that comes out the wall if anyone comes through the front door in between say 2200 and 0600 that would stop the scum burglers

If you're serious about it, talk to one of your techers at school, like a science teacher or something. They may be able to turn it into a project or something similar.

i see your mother's point. if you rent or own, holes (no matter how small) can downgrade the value, and even if it is worth a million, you won't sell many if it is unattractive.
Take that, improve it and I'll look out for it on the tv!
