If you are referring to Jesus' baptism,the dove represented God's holy spirit(Mt.3:16)This outpouring of holy spirit marked the time of his becoming in actual fact the Messiah,or Christ,God's Annointed One.
The Archangel Michael is Jesus in his heavenly role.
