The books of the Bible start out like this: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers...
I taught them all to my kids in a song I found on a tape in a religious supply store.
By the way right now I'm reading out of Petersen's Bible -- it's written in contemporary English -- almost as if it were written in email-style language. Really contemporary, words you won't see in any other bible, like "idiots" -- REAL easy to understand.
You can even pick up one in Wal-Mart, in the book section.
