i do not believe in "HOLY BOOKS" ( lol this name "HOLY" lol )
it's writen to keep masses doing almost same , and take almost same descisions - this is like law in old times ...
"Anyway - holy books answer so many questions" someone says ... - Yes - they do , but with wrong answers !
like asking "Why this star is red" and get answer "because there is so much to understand"
just mindless answers from mindless persons :P

I assume you are refering to the Bible
I believe in it simply because I can see that it is the inspired Word of God and there is eternal truth found in the Bible. Not to mention it Historically has been quite accurate and then on top of that fact Prophecies and etc have come to pass many times out of the book. Although Prophecies don't make me believe in the book it tends to help others become more accepting of it.
The Bible is more reliable that many care to acknowledge, everyone paints the picture that the Bible and specially the new testement was passed by word of mouth only and that it has been twisted and that one man sat and decided what books should be in the Bible
None of that is really true at all. Try to find an unbiased report of how the Bible was composed.

I believe in the Bible, Jesus' book. It teaches the way we should live. It is the only one where God came to earth, died and came back alive. It can also be checked by other books of history, and is found to be correct.

What Can't you understand about ---
The bible is the word of God, because the bible tells me that it is the word of God.
This is a perfectly understandable although circular argument.
Its the same as saying. My best friend is a 6 foot tall white rabbit named Harvey and he is real even if you can,t see him. I know that Harvey is real because Harvey tells me that he is real.
Love and blessings

It's the word of God. That is who I believe in. His word is what He gave me to follow and to grow from and with. I Have faith in Him and in His word, which is the bible. You dont' have to like this answer, but that is the answer. I'm not sure what you expect to get from that question, when what you dont' want to hear is what you are going to hear, since it is the only true answer.
Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
