why is it that they use alot of precaution in airports and no where else?

Septa does not check your bags, you can walk on through. airports, it seems are the only ones truly worried about security. many other transportation options are quite vunerable. why doesn't someone do something about this?

Because my good Philadelphia friend, it's all a big hoax.

Nobody can ever be truly and perfectly safe, anywhere.

They try using gimmicks (the best one was duct tape..remember that one the New Government Agency called Homeland Security came up with?).

This is all about keeping the economy going.

All these gimmicks and gadgets won't do anything to prevent what people plotting want to do next.

So your concerns are valid.

If the unknowns wanted to, they could do seriious damage.

All efforts to fight them off are either too costly or ineffective.

When you have a cancer, you go to the root cause.

When you have an isolated global problem, you go to it's origin, and attack it before it even gets born.

If you want continuation of an endless military buildup, you keep this useless method going and going.

There are ways and means, nobody seems to want to address them, so they keep the status quo which I believe many are plain fed up with. (Judging from the people here).

Your right but airports have so many people and in the air can cause so much damage.To the people flying and people on the ground.I don't fly and it's a shame my friend is getting married in L.A Monday and I'm in N.Y.I think that here they worry about the subways too.I'm sure soon everywhere there will be precautions other than airports.They are focusing on airports because a lot of these people are flying here with the intent to hurt others.
