many many people. I fear the future because of ignorance and pure stupidity not the "devil."
I look forward to the future because of new ideas and new interpretations, not 2000-5000 yr old fundamentals.
No question here sorry everyone.

i am not trying to offend, but why do you think that everyone else is misinterpreting what God and Jesus were about? I agree with you about the fact that God has been misused and Jesus's purpose on the earth has now grossly been misinterpreted and turned upside down. (i just think that it is a different way of looking at it) this is something that I have found after growing spiritually in my own way, and not following any religion. You failed in your non-question to state your belief. did you really want any answers or opinions on the matter? because you forgot or are ignorant in the beliefs that God gave us free will, and belief, no matters who, is what is included in this free will. A belief is a personal thing. just because someone believes differently that you does not make them purely stupid.

I agree totally with you. I honestly believe that Christians have totally misinterpreted the teaching of Jesus. I look forward to the future also. Many people are embracing these new ideas, however we are still the minority. Maybe one day people will realize that the bible is not the infallible word of god and that the god of the bible is not the same god Jesus spoke of. God in the OT is not the true god.

Ok we are stupid and lack Knowledge. You didn't take of moment to give us one trace of your knowledge. Is that because you haven't any? What are the misinterpretations? What can you tell us of history that will bring some level of enlightenment? This is one of those question that call others stupid but can't tell us why...

God does not want you to worry and be upset. Doing so is not good as He has told you to "cast your cares upon Me for I care for you." So don't let it bother you. It is ours to be faithful and edifying in the world and plant seeds. It is up to God, not us to see that people truly get an understanding. So lift up misinterpretations, lacks of knowledge and even chastisers in prayer with joy and leave them there, it shows your faith in the LORD to do all things that are good for us.

If you cannot love Jesus, then you cannot love God because Jesus is the fleshly manifestation of God. Romans 8:3 says,: For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh." God is not on our time, but his. 5000 years is nothing to God---it is a spit in the ocean, so to speak. Without Jesus you cannot go to heaven, for he says "I am the way, the truth and the life: no one cometh unto the Father but by me." Jesus loves you. Trust him.

I love Mickey and Minnie Mouse, but I don't get upset when they're misinterpreted. Don't worry about it.
