You will have to take your shoes off anyway to go through the x-rays. Insoles or no insoles. That will make no difference at all.

You can probably get to USA no problem, but when you leave, USA will make you take off your shoes and send them through x-ray.

I don't know if they would check that or not. They may make you remove them and dispose of them for safety reasons. At least they are not expensive. I would remove them and put them in my checked luggage. then replace them after you get to your destination.

what ever they ask you to do, its for your safety and it gives you the satisfaction your about to board a comparatively safe plane if its a medical condition and you can prove it to security i guess they will co-operate to your satisfaction
