I know that you have to wash your hair often (every day is good). You have to keep your hair clean and try not too use too many hair products as it can irritate the scalp, causing dandruff.

I should think that there's a brand calle Nizoral. That's pretty strong stuff, but it should help. My brother used it as the doctor prescribed it to him.

I am one of those people who just have dandruff and have to live with it. I have attempted a lot of things to get rid of the dandruff for good but they do not work the dandruff keeps coming back.

However, shampooing and oil my head helps it from being very scratchy and not a lot of dandruff. Washing your hair everyday will help but if you are of color it is not wise to wash your hair everyday.

Well, Contrary to what everyone is saying, OILING HAIR INCREASES DANDRUFF.
I went to the leading dermatologist for the dandruff in my hair. He told me that although oiling gives temporary relief to dandruff, it also becomes a breeding ground for more dandruff.

He asked me to stop oiling my hair and to cure it, i started washing my hair daily with heads and shoulders shampoo. Also, i took ZINC capsules (zincolak- it is a dietary supplement) and my DANDRUFF VANISHED.

Now my hair are free of dandruff!

I work in a hospital and have learnt that dandruff can be a symptom of stress. Use a shampoo especially for dandruff.

you need oil your hair.i'll tell u how the dandruff happens.
if we don't apply oil to our head, its startens to dry up and when you comb your hair all the dried particles come out.hence apply oil atleast 3 days in a week.

Garnier fructis shampoo is recommended.
