i need to stop thinking abt the guy i left. i dont want him but find myself at times thinking of the good and bad times we shared. its depressing me i just want to forget it all. how do i do that?

Let Time do that for you.. unfortunately human mind works continuesly and its hard to stop it, but all of these will fade away with time.. just try to keep you self busy and try not to think about it..

Realize that you are suffering from loneliness and that it is a feeling and this current phase in your life with pass - otherwise you are very likely going to get yourself into a relationship that was similar to the last one you have and you will repeat the same mistakes you made in the past. It sounds like ought to take a period of time to take a short break from dating until you have your emotions better sorted out. Right now you sound like a trainwreck.

When I broke up with my first "true" love i was devastated and was depressed for 4 days I came around saying she will take me back or their r other girls he might feel the same way like me but he doesn't show it like u

Try doing things that are fun for you and can distract you. Keep your self busy. Its hard to get started but if you find yoyrself able to get out there then don't stop. Plus one more thing do not run into another relationship...that would be bad!

The love of my love recently broke my heart and the only way I can get up and get through the day without jumping off a roof is to assume she died. I know its harsh but it does work a little.

Day by day it eases and you stop going through it all in your mind.
Grieve the relationship.But dont let it get you down sweetie.

Date someone new, but be honest about the fact that you are getting over someone.
Go out with friends, party, that always helps.

its not possible to control ur mind.
so let it think over for a while and then condition it with other ideas and works so that u r finally distracted.
