and why is it so hard to move on?

When you lose something, it hurts.
When you are betrayed, it hurts.
When your investment in time and commitment return negative yield, it hurts.
When your plans are disrupted and you are left in the lurch, it hurts.
When your future is forsaken by your partner, it hurts.
Sum all these hurts together and you'll get an overwhelming HURT that will last for some time.
Why is it so hard to move on?
Because we always look backwards, instead of forward. To erase unpleasant memories, we need to fill them with NEW and pleasant ones. That's the simple secret.

Rejection is always painful to accept. Regardless of whether a person shows it , or not, human beings have this innate yearning to love and be loved. Love is what gives life meaning. I think that even those whose hearts are consumed with greed, power, and other material things realize this deep down, but refuse to accept it.

there are many reasons why hearts are broken..
one is that your special someone.. doesn't have the same feelings like you have to that someone...
the fact is that it is really hard to move on...
only time will heal those unseen wounds...
because you experience that hurtful feeling every day and someday you will get used to it.... that's why it doesn't hurt anymore....

because there is the involvement of the heart. The heart suffers a lot when it is hurt as it is where the emotions are felt dictated by the brain....

but the difference that ur leg will be fine after a while,but ur heart neeeeeeeds lots of time and effort...

because you gave your love 100% and you didn't left something for yourself that's why you fell so hard.
but that's normal because you can't learn how to love if you you didn't got hurt.that's how life goes on and you need to accept that the two of you aren't meant to each other.
