No it wouldn't ... I don't think there is such a thing any more.
We hardly ever have a "traditional Sunday roast" on a Sunday.
Things are so different now compared to our grandparents' day - and even earlier - and people are probably too busy to bother with cooking such a heavy meal.

This tradition comes from Sunday being the one day of the week that all the family could come together round one big table and have a meal to discuss the previous week. It could also be that people could only afford to buy one joint of meat and it had to provide enough for at least 2 more meals after the Sunday roast.

Why would it be bad???? If you enjoy having a "sunday" roast....wouldn't it be as enjoyable on any other day of the week? Live a little...for heavens sake with all the horror going on in the world, we cannot honestly say how many more Sundays we have on this Earth; so have your "sunday" roast any day you feel like it. Have a great day!!

Of course not - we have roast dinners on other days as well as Sundays - of course we dio not call it Sunday roast if we have it not on a Sunday but it is still a roast dinner.

First terrorists, now people wanting a Sunday roast when its not even Sunday! How can you even contemplate it? Such a thing would never have happened when i was a lad. Its a sad world we live in. I think i'm going to emigrate. Next you'll be telling me you're going to have pancakes instead...when its not even pancake day! I've heard it all now!
