We used to be very closed siblings. However, when my brother married, his wife stayed with my parents, things started to change. He started to complain about me, his eldest sister, going to his house. When his wife is pregnant, start to chase us out of his house. My parents are looking after my sons, 3yrs and 4 mths respectively, at the house. I have tried so hard to talk to his wife, but to no avail. My parents also have complaint abt her. I try to sort things out but I feel that her heart is completely closed. BTW she is from China. We have no biase toward her. But she just stay in her room almost all the time. Nvr interact with us. Slowly she is pulling a long face and refused to greet my parents. Nvr do cooking, housework or whatsoever. Only stay in the room and goes out. My bro used to say tat she is v hardworking and take care of house very well. Finally, things blew up. She confront my father and we fight. Now she still feel she's right and we are all wrong. My father has died..

Talk to her first about her behavior and tell her you are not her enemy and you love both her and your brother and you don't want to see any cat fight around the house because all of you are just one single family and you intend to keep it that way. If she doesn't listen to what you said and continued with what ever she was doing, talk to your brother about all the problems that she is causing and let know about all the things he doesn't know or he knows in different views. Then if it didn't work out, just act like she is not there, have your normal relationship with your brother if he is not changed, and just ignore his wife, this way after a while she'll come around and if she didn't too bad for her.. keep it cool and get the control of your relationship with you family in your hand don't let her to take advantage of your control and goodness..

Mayby you sister in law is is missing her home land if she is from China and finding it hard to fit in to the home you and your parents have provided. Let things go for a while and see how she goes let things settle down.
