If you lose your right nut in an accident, is your remaining nut still your left nut?

Actually it would, but not because of it position, but because it is the only one left!!

I would think so. Unless one could move it over into the position of the right nut, but then it would still be the displaced left nut. Interesting conversation piece.

No. It is not in its former (left) position, so it would no longer be your "left" nut. Unless you named it Left Nut, in which case you need to put down the coke and slowly walk away.

still would be my left nut, it is attached that way to my body even though it could move to center position. it could then be my center nut. but hey, i would be happy to just have a nut, then it could be my right one.....///

Yes, because they're dif from ea other, I believe it should keep its designation as "the left nut." JMO
