without any willing to find the truth about wht something really is? so many times i hear people open their mouth about certain religion, when someone who understand tht religion will recognise how stupid their comment is.. many people talked just based on sites tht attack certain religion without even checking from tht religion source
of teaching.

I agree! But it isn't just he subject of religion either. It seems alot of peeps on here spout off about all sorts of stuff they don't really understand. Race, religion and current events are the worst. I really cannot believe all the hatred out there as well as the ignorants.

I saw this site as way of learning more about the world around me and all it seems to have taught me is that alot of people really have no clue what it is all about.

Great point!

It behooves each of us to examine before we pounce!

Pro 18:2 A fool does not delight in understanding, but only wants to show off his opinions.

Pro 20:3 It is honorable for a man to resolve a dispute, but any fool can get himself into a quarrel.

When we have an opposing view, it should be expressed in courtesy and compassion.

Mat 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.

Col 4:5 Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the time.
Col 4:6 Your speech should always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you should answer each person.

No it is not alright or good to make prjudice remaks about another religion. It is not what God wants. If I do not know waht the other religion bleieves I don't say anything. If I have insight I tell waht I know. I try not to be condeming but honest and sometimes honesty hurts.

I think it's because of the basic human need to not look stupid when involved in a subject they know nothing about. They would rather pretend to have a solid opinion based on NOTHING instead of sitting down, closing their mouths and opening up their ears.

I agree. I may be Christian, but I know that my ways and point of view are not for everybody. Though I do like to ask certain questions that are very prejudice just to see what others come up with. But Everyone must find their own way to God, whether I (or anybody else) agree with them or not.

Yes! I totally understand what your saying!!

Before I use to do it, but now that I've been criticized for my own religion, I don't feel it is right to feel prejudice about other people's religions.

I know about mine, but I don't know enough about other religions so I shouldn't judge anymore. I've made that promise, but sometimes I do slip out of anger. For that, I seek forgiveness through faith, lol.

Your logic is flawed.

If an Atheist site says god is non-existant and gives reasons do you realy think the preacher down the streat is going to agree?

It would be like asking your drug dealer if you should quit doing drugs.

I agree you should always check the credibility of your source.
