A little. For the most part try to stay away from smoke, but if you happen to be in someones car who is smoking just ask them if you can role the window down or say you have a cold.
Second hand smoke kills thousands of people every year, but i doubt it kills the people who are around it for , say, an hour a month or something. If you are around it a lot, it is very dangerous to your health. Don't go to resaraunts that allow smoking and let it be known to the manager you feel that way.

No - not over reaction but I am guessing that you are an ex-smoker. I gave it up 12 years ago and simply cannot abide it now. I look on smokers as if they are mad. But I am preaching with the fervour of the converted! Up here in Scotland there is a total ban in all public buildings, pubs, restaurants, offices, etc., and it is great. The only problem is that the smokers all congregate in doorways so I have to hold my breath to go through the door. There was a lot of fuss at first about pubs thinking they would have no custom, but they are now busier than ever with all the non-smokers who would not go to pubs etc., before because of all the secondhand smoke.

You're suffering an asthma attack probably. Just go waving your pump around when you walk anywhere.

And yeah, you are over reacting, smoking is getting banned in most public places, so just relax and chill out, before some one stubs a dog end out on you.

You've defo been watching too much tv.
Passive smoking is nowhere near as dangerous as the car fumes in a large city, and I'm sure you can walk through the streets without choking.
