Suicide and Religion?

Most religions believe suicide is wrong and a sin. So why do suicide bombers(muslims)kill themselves and others. This is murder plus suicide. Does their god believe it's right to kill innocent people?

My friend it should be clear by their act or actions they are not only convinced that their god does approve of it but that their God does desire it to be done. I am convinced that all do have an individual view of their own personal God.

In the English language one word God is used to designate a supreme being. However there are as many different views of this word and its definition as there are individuals who use it.

It is very true that some only see this superior being as a thing in practice as they worship money, power, position, personal beauty, strength, health, or whatever seems to control their lives. They may deny that such is their God in words but in acts and deeds such is the driving force behind every move made.

Your question tells me that you have a picture of the God that is normally taught by those who do make reference to a Bible in some way. Maybe you have not been exposed to other Gods of individuals who do not have or even know that a Bible does exist. For example those who it seems to me are called suicide bombers which by I do believe in error are classed as muslims do not use the Bible. I also do try to refrain from saying suicide bombers are muslims. Most of the muslims I have had conversations with here on the internet do not condone the suicide bombing idea.

I am not a muslim, I am a "NO" who is a bible nut and spend most of my awake hours in the study of it. So I am not defending them from this view. I am only saying one should be very careful with the words declared and the classing of groups. Improper class usage can only cause problems and harm thus it should be avoided if possible in my opinion.

I do agree with you the the concept of suicide bombing and the taking of the lives of others is not morally correct based upon logically reasoning. Since humankind is not the source of the life force in humankind, humankind should not be the one to eliminate humankind or to terminate the life of humankind except in specific logical instances clearly reasoned out under clear moral standards or guidelines. I am of the opinion the superior being who did establish the life force should be the one to establish the terminating rules and guidelines and not humankind.

1st of all stop using suicide bombers (muslims). its disgusting.

not all muslims are suicide bombers and not all suicide bombers are muslims.

and second islam has never taught non-violence. i know there r many people giving me half qoutes from quran about violence and jihad, but the rest half it is forgotten and gulped down some abyss.

no religion an no God asks his sevants to kill His own creation, the one He took time creating. so get that straight.

and as far as those idiots who commite such atrocities are concerned, they are no good humans, let alone be good muslim, a goal that is hard to attain.

Islam don't tell them to do suicide but they are forced by the army of U.S.A who killed their innocent families & relatives without any reason but just OIL
& if your family is killed ,your womens are being raped by them & you can do nothing as a revenge for this unjustice & terrorism then you have only one option left for taking the revenge from them & that is to do suicide bombing
If non-muslims are watching that this situation in Iraq is due to War & they want to stop this suicide bombing then why they are repeating the same thing in Lebanon which will also result in more suicide bombing
May Allah stop non-muslims from calling innocent women & children in Lebanon & Iraq = Terrorists & may ALLAH give them guidence to stop killing them too

Actually In Islam, the suicide is forbidden...
But there are some conditions where God says u may fight....
for instance,
The are allowed to kill the non-muslims if the non-muslims are attacking muslims, or the is war between muslims & them....

Now most of the innocent muslims are being killed
& they have no proper weapons to fight for thier right...

What is happening in Iraq?
What has been happening in Palestine for decades?
What has been happening in Kashmir for half a century???
What is now happening in Libenon??

Why is that only Muslim countryes are in crisis?
Why not any other non-Muslim country....
Why it has to be a Muslim to be killed with family???

Every where the U.S comes for rescue from terrorists..

Just like Christians, they interpret their scriptures different ways. Christians have also been know to commit suicide and to kill. Consider the Oklahoma City bombing. He considered himself a good christian, as did German Soldiers during WWI and WWII. Recent history, there is also the Balkans, where Christians killed Muslims. We went in to protect the Muslims.

Unfortunately, the belief is they are cleansing the world of infidels and that they will enter paradise (someone told me that they will receive 70 virgins too). Main stream Muslims DO NOT believe in this. The ones who do that are extremists. They are the ones who give Muslims a bad name. It's not their god. It's the people in charge manipulating those below them to do their bidding by killing themselves and innocent people to include children. Notice you never see anyone high ranking killing themselves? It's all a lust for power. At the top, it has nothing to do with religion, only control.

Maybe What they believed in killing themselves makes them feel heroic by sacrificing themselves similar in the world war II scenario where the Japanese pilots did a "kamikaze" attack in Pearl Harbor which is a sign of honor(what they believed).
