I've heard of a case where this boy was run over by a car, and the mother was so horrified that she literally lifted the car up a few inches with her bare hands so that people could get the boy out from underneath. In the event of this, other mothers would just stand and watch. Yes I know, this is because he is her son and so on.... but what exactly is the essence that connects the mother to the child in such a way? Or am I thinking too much?

Also... what can a child do to make his mother the proudest, or happiest mom in the world?

No, they are not all the same.. I have 2 sisters that could care less for their kids. Any goal my children do makes me proud. Just the other day my daughter counted to 5 and I was so proud of her.

That is a natural instinct and drive within a mother to rescue her child beyond all odds. There have been numerous occurrences such as the one in your question. Do not over think it, it can be miraculous; and doesn't the world need more miracles? My children have made me the proudest and the happiest, by living good lives, finding their own joy and wonder in life, finding loving partners and giving me wonderful grandchildren.

Well, all mothers have the same feeling to their sons, but the way they love to their sons may be different. . .

Do your best whatever you are doing right now; for example, if you are a student, be a brightest student in the class; if you are a worker, be an honest and hard worker; and so on. . .Never forget your parents, and also, remember that she gave birth and took care of you when you were a baby...

NO WAY are all mothers the same. I'm very lucky and proud to have a Mother who truly loves me and my brother equally.
My husband's mother gave birth to him and that's about all she ever did for him. I could write a book about what she's DONE to him but I won't. Selfish, egotistic, paranoid schizophrenics should NOT have children!!
Re your 2nd question: If a mother truly loves their child, you don't have to do anything - she's already proud and happy just the way you are.

my mom is like a really really good friend on top of being a mother, we never fight and everythings good. and for me, my straight A's, being in all honors classes and being home before curfew really makes my mom "proud"

No, they are definitely not the same.

Andrea Yates has nothing in common with my mom.
