i'm 20 girl and i'm still a virgin..it's not because of religious things (though i live in an islamic country,turkey)..it's just i could'nt find the right person and haven't so many boyfriends in the past..and i don't want to do it, just to do IT, he must be someone i really love and care for..but now, i know it's silly, being a virgin seems like a burden to me when i look around to my peers..what do you think??

If only you knew how many people would love to have the second chance at being a virgin. It is not bad it is actually admired and you being in a country that protects virginity should be a blessing for you. You do not know what a relief it would be for you if you knew what women go through in sexual relationships. Do not let your peers influence you. be a person of your own character and stop trying to immitate them.

Girl, that is the stupidest question ever!!!! You shouldn't be asking it. In this day of aid/hiv, being a virgin is the best thing ever. So when you do marry, and have your husband as the only sexual partner, you can be sure you do not have the disease and he can have himself checked out as well. Discovering ways of making love, becoming sexually creative, learning which spots in y our body are easily stimualated, gives you pleasure, its the best thing you can do with your life partner. And its the best gift you can ever give to each other. There's no need to have sex, go and read books or surf the net, and learn how to make love if you feel that you don't want to be seen as an inexperienced lover. There are plenty of books to read on how to stimulate men, differetn positions etc. but having sex now, its a big NO NO!! You should be commended for still being a virgin. Stay that way....you will one day meet a man, who'd be perfect for you, and guess what, you'll wish you could give to him the gift of your virginity.

It's a good thing, not a bad thing. Even where I live, in the U.S., where far too many people are experimenting with sex too early in their lives, it's a good thing to remain a virgin until marriage--for both men and women. We've gotten things all turned around backwards when we begin questioning whether virginity is good or bad.

It's never a bad thing to be a virgin. It will happen for you when it's supposed to happen. I'm proud of you for not just wanting to do it to do it. Just relax and work on being happy. Eventually the right man to take your virginity will come along.

No it's not. I'm a guy in europe and I lost mine at 23. For the very same reason. When I finally got it on with someone I really liked it was fantastic. Tried like 6 times to f**k some average chicks when I was really drunk, but fate kept me away from it (no condom, too drunk =)) ), then I decided to stand my ground till i meet someone whos' worth it.
I now don't regret it at all.

Just don't wait for a prince handsome, find someone you like or at least are attracted to and get it on. It DOES feel good.

IT'S NOT A GOOD NOR A BAD THING, AND THRE'S NOTHING TO BE PROUD OR ASHAMED OF!!!
DON'T LISTEN TO THE UGLY CHICKS WHO SAY YOU SHOULDN'T DO IT BEFORE MARRIAGE - THEY'RE NOT GETTING MARRIED!!! ;))

No I am 21 and Im still a virgin. I admire you for that. It's not popular but it's NOT bad. It's smarter to wait. There are so many diseases that condoms cant protect you from. You never know who has them either. Keep staying safe. Good luck!!

It's not bad in fact it's a GREAT thing to be proud of. The problem is that does it matter to lose it or not. Though you may love him but you must consider if he also does the same to you, or you may have the greatest regret you'll have in this life.

Good for you!!!! There is nothing wrong with the way you feel. And believe it or not, someday the right boy for you will be honored that you saved yourself just for him. As a matter of fact, my son has a 19 year old friend that is saving himself for the right girl too.
