Wow, I thought I was the only one! I think it is because when you are sedated you are giving a very strong drug and the sadness is your body 'coming off' it.
Don't despair, if you tell yourself that it is a chemical responce it will help you.

what were you sedated for? Is it serious? If it were me I'd be terrified knowing I didn't have any control over my body, anything could happen. Wow, fair play to you for having it done more than once x

It is normal for some people to be emotional after general aneasthetic. I was a dental nurse for 8 years and it was common after dental surgery. Not sure why but i think its just the way our bodies cope with things. I get emotional after surgery and usually sleep for hour and hours. feeling emotional usually lasts about 3 days

Your body chemistry is being thrown out of balance from all the chemicals. Try to take some blood and liver cleansing herbs, to detox as well as vita C, A and E.

Herbs; milk thistle, ginger, dandelion, red clover etc.

Hope you feel better. :-)

That happens to me too. One time I was coming round after the dentists and though I was dreaming and I was crying my eyes out then when I realised I was not dreaming I stopped crying. It is nothing to worry about.

It is just your system reacting to the sudden surge of relaxation been placed on the body. Lay back & take it easy & dont let it get you down.

It happens a lot. Some say it is your body getting rid of toxins, others say it is a reaction to the trauma done to your body.
