I have this boyfriend...but he lives in Washington State...he moved there about two weeks ago, and does not have any internet or phone lines . We decided to try the long distance thing, but I dnt think it's really working out. He can only come back once a year, MAYBE, and until then I will only hear from him on email or msn, or sometimes on the phone (not always coz of price). He's 16 and I'm 15, and until I'm 18 i will only see him 3 times, and even those are not definate, and when im 18 I wanna go off to uni and do my own thing, and I dont think he wants to be part of that. Also, when he does come back next year, I dont think I can face seeing him and then loosing him again. We lost our spark...we don't have any chemistry anymore..I think anyway. So do I dump him...or do I keep trying? He hasnt 100% settled in yet, but I feel selfish by not giving him that chance to settle in, even though when he does I still dnt think it will work. Am I selfish for giving up, or am i right? Plzhelp

Hey at 15 you are going to meet a lot of boys before you are 18.So if you wait for him you are going to miss out on a lot of dates .If you can stay friends, hey who knows what may happen. It sounds like you already have the answer, you just want someone to tell you what to do.

If you truely love him distance should not be a problem...Do you trust yourself and him. Time apart will truely prove your love. You are still young, he might not be the one true love. Long distance relationships can put a strain on both of you, but looking forward to seeing him when you can should give you strength....If you are using this just to break up with him, I don't think you really loved him

If you want to keep in touch with each other, use snail mail and remain friends...who knows what the future holds...but you have a life to live, so carry on and live it
