If it's all he does, you need to dump him. But first you tell him that if he can't be bothered to pay attention to his current girlfriend, you'll be another story he can tell.

You have a few options:
1. Ignore it. Doesn't usually work, but there's always the first time.
2. Talk about your ex boyfriends, in detail. Heck, invent boyfriends, and invent details. When he complains, and he will, point out you thought HE wanted to share because it's all HE talks about is his ex-girlfriends. Usually works, but.......
3. Politely explain to him that it's very unromantic to hear about his ex-girlfriends, and that you really aren't interested in THEM, just in him.
4. Move on.
I highly recommend #4, and make sure you explain to him exactly WHY you don't want to see him anymore. I've tried 1-3, and they typically don't work. You see, it's not about him sharing with you..it's about him pointing out to you how studly he is, and how many women he's had. It's really similar to when they discuss the women they've "had" in the locker room with their buddies.
If you have to "do it back" to get him to stop, you can rest assured you will spend the REST of the relationship having to do the same thing...the only way ANYTHING makes an impression on this type of man is when YOU do it TO them.
Trust me on this....run, hide...run far, and run fast.

I wouldn't want to hear that crap all the time, I'm sure you don't either. Tell him he needs to get over it because it bothers you, and if he cares he'll stop. I understand if it bother him it's good to talk things out, he can do that with his friends. They won't listen to it long either. If he doesn't stop though he has a problem and it'll also be your problem. Your call. Wish you luck, maybe he has some sense. Have Fun!!!

I know how you feel. Well, you should definitely tell him that this makes you feel bad and that you don't wanna talk about these things. Make it clear to him that what you want is talking about you two, not about past things that bring no good to none of you!
Good luck and be happy!

It only shows that he never moved on from his past but it may also show he still love the other one. Talk to him, and tell him that it hurt you, if it does?

I'd consider leaving her, since this behavior implies that she still has strong feelings for him. might see myself even as a consolation...
but that is in no way correlated to what you will do.

if it's so important to him, and if he thinks it should be interesting to others hearing about his ex-s, tell him to write it all in a book, which you will gladly read. also ask him if he can he shut up now??
