Its home because:
well over these years, i got to learn few things bout programming .....you can learn the grammer of any programming language but programming cant be taught....coz its a way of creativity....you have to use brains.....only thing you can get, is some good tools to sharpen ur brain and to know the grammer....as far as these NIIT type institutes are concerned...they all are bogus.......

(Mind you...new students who want to begin programming should always start with C++, coz when you learn c++ you are all set to learn languages like Visual c++,java, etc with greater ease)

i strongly recommend few books:

1. if you are a complete beginner in programming(that means no programming background in any language whatsoever) then start with c/c++ and using book on C by A K Sharma used in class 11th in schools(never go for sumita arora, coz this book contains progs that wont even compile).
2. Yashwant Kanetkar's has a whole series of books on C and C++ like Let ue c, writing in c, Let us C++, testing ur C skills, exploring c, writing tsr's in C etc..

take my advice these few books are enough to make you a skilled programmer......
here is my site address...see the programm i made in C++(i have lot more up my sleeves)
http://dmwinc2000.proboards34.com/index.cgi?board=programming

i could do these progs when i was in 12 th class, thanks to yashwant kanetkar becoz not he gives tremendous amount of knowlegde but make the programming interesting.

if you learn c/c++ by some bad teacher or book....this is the worst thing that you can get.....because c/c++ is so easy, ceative and interesting that you would love to do programs in it...but because of that bad teacher or book you are deprieved of that.......once the feeling arise in you that you cant program in c/c++...then you cant program in any of other language...coz all the languages have almost same syntax like in c/c++ moreover c/ c++ is called the mother of high level programming languages...(guess what?... windows is also programmed in c/c++)

Arre yaar, do not waste money to go to some training school. Buy a book and if you have a computer, create some C++ programs using the book.

Spend money on getting a degree.
