really thought about this for the last few minutes, and with the prophets and the New Testament - it's impossible.
Daniel in the lions den is definitely one of my favorites - a true journey of pure faith against all rational odds, not to mention the lion laying down with the lamb.

The truth is I like them all. I can't decide. God help me. I'm addicted to Scripture. Remember that one about the two ladies going before the judge both claiming the baby was theirs and the judge says, "Chop the kid in half and give half to each of them."
The real mother of course said ,"NO! NO!" and that's how the judge knew she was the real mom.
Better than anything on TV.

The story of joseph. Despite what people thought of him, God was with him and made him into a ruler. my second best is the story of Jesus Christ. This depicts how much God loves us that He could give His only son to die for us. It is this same Jesus that is my Lord and saviour.

Since I was a child, I have always been fascinated with Bible stories.
One of my favorites is the story of Prophet Joseph (peace be upon him). He started as a slave, became a prisoner (although he was innocent), and saved Egypt from seven years of famine. He became the top-ranking official after Pharaoh, but even in times of hardship he was faithful to God. He is also very clever in the way he dealt with his re-encounter with his long-lost brothers, and in the end he forgave them. I have always been fascinated with his God-given ability to interpret dreams.
The life of the prophet Moses (peace be upon him) is also really interesting. How he was born a slave, and raised as royalty, and ended up delivering his people out of Egypt. I would like to note a few things that I find interesting about his story: he was placed in the river as a baby and ended up in Pharaoh's palace (saved from Pharaoh's own order to kill all baby boys); even though he was raised as an Egyptian prince, he did not forget his people or his God; he performed miracles by leave of God, such as turning his staff into a serpent (which swallowed the serpents of the magicians); the ten plagues (such as the river turning red, the frogs, the locusts, etc); and of course the splitting of the Red Sea and the defeat of the angry Pharaoh; and bringing the Ten Commandments down from Mount Sinai. And we cannot forget the manna that fell from the heavens- praise be to God! He is always looking out for His people!
I am also very fond of the story of Abraham (peace be upon him) as he demonstrates great submission to God despite societal adversity. Abraham (pbuh) found God through wisdom and logic and dedicated his entire life to serving him. He rejected the idols of his forefathers for His sake, which serves as an example to all people that the Almighty God is far greater than idols of sticks and stones, or even family traditions (such as worshiping certain people, saints, statues, etc). I feel that I can relate to him because I also rejected the faith of my family (Christianity) in order to follow the one true God without being tied down by religious and cultural baggage. As the Qur'an puts it, Abraham (pbuh) was intelligent enough to see that the idols had no power, and he wanted to serve something higher. So he went soul-searching. He saw the sun and thought, "Surely, there is nothing greater than this." But at the end of the day, the sun set, and he saw that the sun was not worthy of worship. Then he saw the moon, but it too set. He then became aware of Almighty God, who alone is above all things. He then wandered in the desert seeking God, as we all do (metaphorically speaking). :) He and his son Ishmael (pbuh) built the Kaaba in the Valley of Baca. (Baca=Makkah=Mecca), the first house of God in the world. (Psalms 84:4-6 gives reference to the valley of Baca and the pilgrimage made there. It says: "Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you. Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools [blessings]." (some versions of the Bible differ from this. This is the New International Version.))
As you can probably see, I love stories from the Torah/Bible/Qur'an!!! I love the story of Daniel too (don't get me started...this post is long enough) :) I also really love Biblical history and geography, as well as prophecy. Sometimes when reading Bible stories as a child, I would go to a world map and locate where everything took place. And by reading the Bible I learned the names of ancient kingdoms and peoples, and could link it to my understanding of the modern world. Well, anyways, thank you for asking such an interesting question! I hope this answer covers it! And please note that even though my beliefs may be a little different from your own, I mean absolutely no offense (what would the world be without a little diversity?)! God bless!
