you should study properly and learn good grammar and spelling. I think staying at home you have not been devoting enough time to studies. In hostel you should concentrate more on your studies and do well.

Once you started to live in hostel after leaving home, its a kind of self managed life, you get exposed to reality soon and need to take decisions by oneself. No more covering by parents at all things. There are other benefits like, have friends from same field, this helps in study, get more time to study. Life is easier because you don't depend on others, you just learn how to live and survive. After you finish study anyhow you need to do that...it helps later. You form your independence.

The benefits are :
1. You learn to be independent.
2. You can study in a better way as nobody is there to disturb you.
3. You learn how to take decisions.
4. You learn how to bear this selfish world.
5. You learn how necessary it is to have a true friennd.
