I married my husband when he was 19 and I was 15. Yes.........I was pregnant! We had many ups and downs. BUT we are still here 24 years later.
DOWNSIDE........... wait to have kids! We had to grow up in an instant. We both were figuring who were we, when we had to be parents. It is possible to find love when young, but you should have your life's ambition set before you start a family.
Now years later, we both have dealt with starting out so young. Though we are still together, it has taking ALOT ( note big letters), to get here. Your question suggested you are looking for acceptance,
You are 15. Ready to take this man for life!? What about a diploma? College? Career? I cannot judge because it worked for me, but I sacraficed alot to be a young wife and mom.
If you are just talking about being a cool boyfriend\girlfriend, ok.....yeah. Beyond that............you have no idea what beyond offers you!

Lucky guy..... well, my wife 19, I was 24... no big deal there.
Your at the awkward age...to young, but maturity is there. Most people are just concerned that your not being taken advantage of by this older guy, manipulating you per say.. if that isn't the case, there is no problem. Enjoy....
(if sex is involved, be cautious as the state could take action against him if you two are caught or sex tales are written in a journal, until you reach the legal age of consent, most states are 16 up too 18.)

First answer is because it's illegal if you two are intimate. That's generally a big no. Plus the vast majority of 15 year olds are not as mature as 19 year olds. One is a full adult, the other still in high school. In general they seem as if the 19 year old is taking advantage of the 15 year old. If you two somehow managed to avoid that to form a legitimate relationship, I'm happy for you, but you need to know you're in the minority.

i dont think it's bad at all my first boyfriend was 19 when i was 16, i think people judge you so harshly because depsite what you may feel for each other and how well he treats you, it is against the law to have a physical realtionship as your under 16 and even if you arn't doing anything people will assume you are and take a dim view of him

Its fine if you two are happy and your parents are ok with it! if other people give you a hard time dont listen to them because in a few years you will be 20 and he'll be 24 no big deal

Yes it really is. When you are older you will understand. They aren't judging, they just know things that you don't, its called life experience and it should be respected, at 15 you don't have much.

4 years seems like a pretty big difference now, but later down the road that is nothing. look at a couple who is 30 and 34. does that seem wierd? not really.

I dont know why either.Girls are more mature at this age so you probably match. Way back in the old days people got married in their early teens. As long as your parents know I think it should be ok.

Its considered taboo. Now turn back the clock. Middl ages, 13-14 was considered perfect age for marriage. If its happiness, why worry what other people think.

Depends on what state your in but legally it is against the law. If your parents are cool...it is fine for now. If you get pregnant, etc. you could have problems. Communication is key and making sure you want it for the long term.
