And should same software designers who do not make clear error messages i.e. UNKNOWN ERROR which I've seen a few times, be sent to animal laboratories for medical research purposes ?

1. Do watch what you are doing. Even the best of "undo" buttons cannot fix real folly.
2. Sometimes the reason for the error is really unknown. The quote that is appropriate here is: Programming today is a race between programmers trying to produce bigger and better idiot-proof programs and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning.
Program designers cannot know what each person using the program will come up with doing...

No, users of software should learn how to use it properly. You're given so much luxury with software that you don't get with other tools/jobs/aspects of life.

If you crash your car, there isn't an undo button that restores your car. If you're doing DIY and ruin something in your house, there's no instant undo.

Software makes things so easy for people, such as everyones favourite "copy & paste" or auto-correcting spell checker.

The reason you may get error messages such as "Unkown Error" is becuase software isn't a physical entity, and yet it's trying to exist in a physical world where there are no limitations about possibility. A software designer can't predict everything that may happen and then write an error message for it (which is just like everything else).

No. As software designer myself I have enough on my plate without you asking much of us. Now if you use software properly and sensible you wont need undo would you?

Nope, I believe users of software should learn how to use the software properly.
