keep doing what your doing and use floss too, but you should see your dentist, because eventually your gum line will receed too much and you can easily lose your teeth that way!
You have gingivitis and it can only be taken care of 100% by prescription meds given to you by your dentist!

gingivitis...there is a rubber tip you can buy in your drugstore...it sounds stupid, but you use it to massage your gums-use if for about 10 minutes a day. It will toughen your gums up. Also, it's really important that you floss. Brushing doesn't get everything out. See your dentist as well, they will be able to give you a better idea of how bad your case is. They'll also scrape the plaque off your teeth and gums. A cleaning probably wouldn't hurt either. Good luck!

the usua healthy gum colour is pale pink.
Anyway, bleeding gums are a symptom of gingivitis. Basically make sure you floss too! Keep brushing, albeit gently, despite the bleeding.
I think you should seek the dentists' help if it bleeds even when you're not brushing. Sometimes gingivitis can also be a symptom of a systemic disease

u should probably floss more often... but right now i think u should go to the dentist cuz u probably have accumulated plaque and tartar under ur gums... thats wats causing the gingivitis and the bleeding. The dentist will scrape that crap from under there and will give u sum free dental floss... ;)

When was the last time you had your teeth cleaned at a dentist? In addition, your dentist may prescribe chlorhexidine gluconate. Sounds like you have gum disease, and may soon start losing teeth.
