The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. -- Eleanor Roosevelt
One should not pursue goals that are easily achieved. One must develop an instinct for what one can just barely achieve through one's greatest efforts. -- Albert Einstein
Both of those have been quotes I have used to guide my life for many years now. I truly believe that anything is possible if you believe. And every moment in life has meaning and we are all here for a short time so we need to work every day to make ourselves the best we can be for those around us because the ripple effects of our living will impact those we love long after we are gone.
Hope you have a lovely day too :-)

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our Light, not our Darkness that frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you NOT to be? You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that others won't feel insecure around you. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just some of us, it is everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear our presence automatically liberates others.
When I dare to be Powerful
to use my Strength in the service of my vision
then it becomes less and less important whether I am Afraid.
~ Audre Lorde
Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure,
or nothing.
-Helen Keller
What we choose to emphasize in this complex history will determine our lives. If we see only the worst, it destroys our capacity to do something. If we remember those times and places – and there are so many – where people have behaved magnificently, this gives us the energy to act, and at least the possibility of sending this spinning top of a world in a different direction.
~ Howard Zinn, historian and author
"The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions that I wish it to be always kept alive." Thomas Jefferson
A fool is very dangerous when in power.
Denis Fonvizin
The people never give up their liberties but under some delusion.
Edmund Burke
A patriot must always be ready to defend his country against his government.
Edward Abbey

I'm pretty sure I made this one up, as I have never heard it anywhere else...
Never be afraid to take a chance, because life is one big game of chance, and if you never take any chances, you'll never get anywhere in life.
I found this to be true, because I took a chance and entered into a relationship with a man I met on the internet, and we've been together a year and a half, and are getting married on the 2 year anniversary of our first date, in February. We discovered that we only lived 5 mins apart from each other at the time we met. Had our first date at Applebees, then went out to play pool at the bar near our apartments, and hit it off swimmingly from there.

"LIFE IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ARE MAKING OTHER PLANS." John Lennon
This is my favourite quote and one I think of whenever I get wrapped up in trying to get to the places in life I want to be. You have to appreciate the moment you're in too.
Good question Oliver! I would rate it as so too if I had attained the heady heights of Level 2 and therefore could rate answers.

Some old ladies that I cared for as a young voluntary worker told me that, "life is so short, go out and live it to the fullest you can Tony," I have since lived all over the world, and I have lived my life to the fullest I could. "He who dies with the best memories, WINS." Tony in remotest Isan, still living life to extremes.
