What's the best pain reliever for Avasular Necrosis...post hip replacement, after morphine has ceased to work?

I have Avascular Necrosis-bi polar...and have had 2 hip replacements one one hip alone...I also have Spinal stenosis and the pain is immense. But, I have been using 500-600 mgs. morphine sulfate for years, and it is not working as well anymore. Is there anything else that I can use that doesn't make one euphorious?
